Molly Rules at Visible Image

Today's post is all about getting inky with some Distress Inks and awesome stamps from Visible Image. The main focus of today's project is 'Molly' from the Molly Rules set of stamps at Visible Image, she is such a fun, spunky character, who obviously has a wicked side, cos Teddy's lost his head!!

I decided it was time for me to visit my all time favourite colour combination again, seems like quite a while since I created a mainly Bright Pink and Black Card.  Molly is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, then coloured with Graph'it Markers and a little Sakura White Souffle Pen for highlights.  I used the Ink Splats set of stamps to create the background around Molly, using Black Soot and Picked Raspberries Distress Inks.

As you can see my project isn't a card, it's an Easel Calender, so simple to make, and such fun.  I used Black Mirri Board for my Easel base, to which I added some Bright Pink Card.  I used the Grunge Flourish and Ink Splats stamps along with the cute Skull from the Molly Rules Set, to create the patterned on my card stock.  I matted my calender onto some Black Mirri Board and added that to the Easel Base.  Before adding Molly to my Easel Front, I added a strip of Black Mirri Board, and matted Molly onto some Bright Pink Card.  To finish my project I used the Sakura White Souffle Pen to colour the eyes in the skulls and add a few white dots scattered around the background for a little contrast.
